The Tampa Bay Buccaneers fell short against the Los Angeles Rams after coming close to making an incredible comeback. That wasn’t enough, and now Tampa Bay finds itself out of contention for Super Bowl 56. Also, Tom Brady’s future in football is now in question and Bruce Arians is stepping in.

According to James Palmer, The Buccaneers head coach leaves it up to Tom Brady to make the decision. There have been many rumors that the GOAT suspended him after this year. However, he has stated before that he would like to end his career with another Super Bowl win.

It was a long, long career, as Brady was the winningest player in NFL history. It’s hard to imagine seeing anyone else match their number of Super Bowl rings. The current Buccaneers quarterback is a living, living legend and soon to be in the Hall of Fame. If he decides to retire, he will have a historic career that is hard to match.

Even so, there is still a chance that Brady will return. He claimed before wanting to play until he was 45. As of now, the Buccaneers quarterback is 44 years old and will turn 45 in August. With that in mind, Tom Brady may choose to return to see his goal all along.

It will be a story that will dominate the sports media. There’s no doubting his greatness, but the Buccaneers will either have Brady back under center or play a different quarterback next year. Either way, Tom Brady has done more than enough to earn respect across the league, but if he chooses to return, Tampa Bay will welcome him with open arms.

Rams, Sean McVay, Matthew Stafford
