Schedule for second part announced, 33 matches to be played between January 20 and February 4

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], Jan 17 (ANI): Mashal Sports, the organizers of the Pro Kabaddi League, successfully played 66 games constituting the first half of the current league phase of Season 8, fully in line with the published league schedule in December 2021.
Mashal Sports announced the second round of the current round-robin league game on Monday, with 33 games to be played from January 20 to February 4, 2022.
A significant feature of the 66 completed games of PKL Season 8 was the heightened quality of competition between the 12 PKL teams. The score difference at the end of matches has been reduced by 42% with an average. of 6 in PKL 8 VS 10 in PKL 7. There was a 16% increase in the total number of points scored: avg. 68 points per game in PKL 8 against 59 in PKL 7.
League organizers are confident that the next round of 33 matches will see a further improvement in the competitive quality of the league, especially as this includes ‘rivalry week’ between PKL teams where playing teams are selected for popular sentiments and folklore between their respective geographies. . PKL Season 8 “Rivalry Week” will be played from January 31 to February 4.
The upcoming 33 games, including Rivalry Week, will be followed by the penultimate round of another 33 games that will complete the full 132-game round robin phase of Season 8. This will be followed by the round of play-offs and then the The Grand Final of Season 8.
