The American Multi Ethnic Coalition presents its Golden Eagle Award to philanthropist Mr. Anil Loomba

The Oscar Gala hosted by the American Multi Ethnic Coalition on February 19, 2022 was the scintillating event that recognized the extraordinary work done by Mr. Anil Loomba, especially during the difficult time when Covid 19 was ravaging the world. Presenting the Golden Eagle award to Mr. Anil Loomba, Cook County Council Chairman Toni Preckwinkle commended him for his generosity and business acumen in accomplishing the timely delivery of oxygen cylinders and concentrators to hospitals in India struggling to serve the hundreds of thousands of people with Covid. . This was in addition to his and his family’s generous donations to United Punjabis of America as part of its campaign for Chicago-area food banks and pantries. Among the many dignitaries present at the gala were US Congressman Danny Davis, US Congressman Bill Foster and US Congressman Raja Krishnamoorthi.
These noble actions by Mr. Loomba came as no surprise to those who followed his meteoric rise in the business world with a parallel increase in his support for charities in the United States as well as in India.
Mr. Loomba left a successful career in corporate finance to start his own business and established Home Mortgage Solutions, Inc. in 2001. Over the years, he has built a powerful team that is recognized as a leader in the real estate finance industry. HMSI recently opened an office in Texas where Mr. Loomba plans to transform this industry, just as he did in Illinois.
Mr. Loomba credits his success to the values instilled by his parents, both teachers, who modeled hard work and community service throughout their lives. “My mother, Malti Loomba, was a school principal in the state of Punjab in India. After my father’s untimely death, my mother kept our family united and strong. Her strength is my daily inspiration,” he said. -he declares.
